Extract from "Last Letter To A Friend", J.B.

One evening I was laying down in the front of the boat enjoying a Gin Tonic, admiring the sun going down softly behind the horizon. I could only hear the sound of the waves cuddling the beach, feel the heat of the last sun shines on my cheeks, the breeze through my hair. It was in that sublime cocktail of perceptions that my mind captured the most striking scenario of my life and decided to engrave a poem in my heart:

When the feeling of satisfaction

Reaches all human senses,

Then no words are needed.

Astonished by the beauty of the view

Your eyes do not need words.

Swung by the sound of the water

Your ears do not need words.

Caressed by the warm wind

Your face doesn’t need words.

Floated in the air by the taste

Of a cocktail and the unique smell

Of the sea

Your fulfillment doesn’t need words.

And then your mind,

Swimming among such absolute content,

Doesn’t need words,

But a pen and a book,

Your memory and your heart.
