Tue, March 23rd 2010, Day 4:
La Paz
While riding, we decide to aim for La Paz for dinner, pass by Todos Santos, and camp at the most awaited spot of the journey, Van Helen’s Los Cerritos in El Pescadero. The drive to La Paz touches both sides of the Baja, showing us all its variety of beauty.
In La Paz, after dinner we stop at Papas&Beer for a drink, and then drive towards El pescadero. Around 11 at night, we pass by the sleeping gates of the Hotel California, in Todos Santos and arrive shortly at the beach of Los Cerritos. We park behind the bar and walk on the beach to set up the tent. Of course, we’d already managed to lose the sticks for the tent so we put rocks at the corners of the tent in order not to wake up roofless.
Before going to bed, we experience the delicious...quality of the cheapest Mexican tequila while watching the waves breaking on the cliff.
Moment of the day: Ceviche in La Paz and the Fanta and Tequila on the beach of Los Cerritos.
